Abstract „Log Plaza Frankfurt (Oder)”
With the project “Log Plaza Frankfurt (Oder)”, the OSMAB Holding AG from Roesrath (NW) is planning and constructing an industrial and logistics park in the freight village Frankfurt (Oder), which is located in the immediate vicinity to the motorway A12 (E30) at the motorway exit Frankfurt (Oder) West. In total, the company bought around 370,000 m² (37 ha) from various land owners. In a gradual expansion, the company will use its “Log Plaza” concept to develop several real estate complexes of different sizes and characteristics that will meet contemporary high quality requirements of logistics and industrial companies. Interest in the new site in Frankfurt (Oder) arose due to the ongoing need for new, easily accessible logistics properties in the German capital region. “The potential of the region’s workforce and the availability of appropriate land plot sizes have been crucial for our decision to invest here,” explains Anton Mertens, chairman of the board of OSMAB AG, who emphasised the trustful process during the entire relocation process with the signing of the development contract with Frankfurt’s Lord Mayor René Wilke. “With the project teams in Frankfurt (Oder) we have found reliable partners with whom we plan to work successfully over the next few years. We see great potential for the economic development of Frankfurt (Oder).”
The development of the approximately 440,000 m² site in the freight village (GVZ) Frankfurt (Oder) Süd will be done by Alcaro Invest GmbH, a 100% subsidiary of OSMAB Holding AG. A total of three halls will be built, each with its own high standards of quality, sustainability and functional equipment.
