The Frankfurt (Oder) Freight Village (Oder) is situated rail and roadside right in Europe's main traffic corridor for East-West traffic from Paris to Moscow via Warsaw and in integrated in an efficient regional transport infrastructure. The new Berlin-Brandenburg International Airport (BER – "Willy Brandt") can be reached from the A12 federal motorway within 45 minutes by car. In the North-South direction, a motorway with at least 2+1 lanes runs from the direction of Szczecin via Frankfurt (Oder) and Eisenhüttenstadt toward Dresden.
