Freight Village Frankfurt (Oder)

Your direct route to the growth markets

Located in the German capital city region of Berlin-Brandenburg and at the centre of the growth markets of Central and Eastern Europe, more than 1.5 billion Euros have been invested over the past few years in the region surrounding Frankfurt (Oder) and Eisenhüttenstadt, thus creating more than 5000 new jobs.
The prerequisite for the successful establishment of companies in the production sector was the development of the local infrastructure. This also included the construction of a freight village in Frankfurt (Oder). In the scope of constructing the Frankfurt (Oder) Freight Village, the City established the Intermodal Terminal, which went into operation on 6 April 2005, on the site of the former marshalling yard.
